Wow, it’s been a busy sort of dead run of things lately. We’d been crafting our little hearts out getting ready for some local sales, so lots of sewing, gluing, taping, etc. Fun, but tiring. @.@
We’ve also started working on developing projects for a second book. FUN! I can’t really say much about it at the moment, but it’s been pretty cool. I’ll post more on it as I can.
Also, I’m working on a tutorial for another book binding. (It involves hardware and I’m in love with it lately.) I should be posting it up at the site sometime in the next couple of weeks. (I’m off to the AASL Conference next week to staff the ALA booth next week)
Anyway, on to pictures! Here’s some shots of some of the things we made for the sales:

Peggie & Tina: ready for Annual Conference!
Woohoo!
After getting things ready for a bit we’re finally online and updated!
We’re currently getting ready for a demo we’ll be running at the ALA Store at ALA’s Annual Conference here in Chicago next weekend. Both mom and I are quite excited and we’ll be demo-ing 3 projects from our book, including Pressed Flower Note Cards, Blank Books, and Vinyl Tote Bags.
We’re also bringing some samples for the display in the Store, so people can get a view of things. ^^
As you can see in the pic, in honor of conference we managed to get a couple of the conference shirts and re-work them. Mom shortened her shirt in order to have some utility pockets and added button details to the sleeves. I did some cut-aways on the sleeves and tied them with ribbons.
And while we’re on the subject of t-shirt recons, I’ve also got a shot of my Quebec shirt. It came out pretty cute ^^.

I have another one that will have to wait until after Conference. It still needs a small detail before I can call it done
So, this is the first post. I expect most people will see it after conference. If you were there, I hope you had fun! I hope you came by the Membership Pavilion to say hello! And I hope you stop by here again to see what sort of mad projects mom and I have in mind. ^^
