About Arystocrafts

Arystocrafts is sort of a mindset, really. I mean, Mom and I started out just trying to write a book for librarians on craft projects that went beyond paper plate masks and library paste. It grew from there, really. We realized that while we had both been crafting for years and years (with the unfinished projects to show for it!) but hadn’t ever really thought about our ‘philosophies’ about crafting. In writing the book (The Hipster Librarians Guide to Teen Craft Projects) we learned that we both really appreciated the recycling aspect of crafting. That ability to turn something worn-out into something new. And we learned that we both really liked working together.

So, this blog is to add support to the book (and the upcoming sequel) by adding color pics, explainging questions that might come up, showing new ideas in development and whatever else might come up. Keep an eye out and keep on crafting.
